Meet the Coach
Meet Nicholas Jennewein, the driving force behind STL Athlete Lab. With over 10 years of coaching experience and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification, Nicholas specializes in turning potential into performance.
Training out of STL Turf Box, Nicholas focuses on the science of speed, power, and durability. His evidence-based approach doesn’t just make athletes stronger, it builds people who move better, perform better, and stay resilient for the long run.
While many know Nicholas for his work with athletes and being a lacrosse coach, his training philosophy goes far beyond sports performance. He works with clients of all backgrounds, from competitive athletes to everyday individuals looking to build strength, improve mobility, increase confidence in the gym, or simply feel better in their bodies.
Every program Nicholas creates is personalized to the individual. Whether the goal is improving athletic performance, building muscle, increasing strength, preventing injuries, or creating a sustainable fitness routine, each training plan is designed specifically for the client’s goals, lifestyle, and ability level.

Club: Lou Fusz Athletics (Summer/Fall)
Specialty: Offensive mindset, driving mechanics, and 1:1 tactical development
While lacrosse is his primary specialty, Nicholas has experience coaching athletes across multiple sports including football, baseball, track and field, and more. His goal is to help both male and female athletes develop into confident, well-rounded competitors with the strength, speed, and athletic foundation to excel in any sport.
